FREEDOM FROM FRET ( DISCONTENT, IRRITATION, RESENTMENT).

1. The Problem of Fretting ( Psalm 37:1). Fret not yourself because of evildoers. We are glad that Your word offers a practical remedy for each of our fretting problems.

2. We Can Be Free from Fret if We Trust in the Lord ( 37:3) May "In God we trust" be not only a motto, but also a governing priciple in every phrase of our lives.

3. If We Delight in the Lord (37:4) May we keep our hearts fixed on You until we desire nothing but You.

4. We Can Be Free from Fret if We Commit Our Way unto the Lord ( 37:5) Forbid that we should look on the seamy side of life and see nothing but dangling threads and clashing colors. Help us to see life from Your vantage point.

5. If  We Rest in the Lord ( 37:7) If we are fretting, it is a sign we are not resting in You. If we rest in You, there will be no room for fretting.

6. We Can Be Free from Fretting if We Wait on the Lord (37:34) We need Your assistance, so we can learn that some of our most important lessons will be gained while we are in Your "waiting  room".

7.If  We Put Our Hope in the Lord (38:15) We have a consuming desire to keep our eyes fixed on You, our affections set on You, and our hopes built on You.
