Sf. Apostol Andrei aduce 'Marea ideie' la Tomis (Constanta) în secolul 1.

'Marea ideie', adicā 'Tatāl Nostru', este despre egalitatea absolutā.
"Religia crestinā are o virtute pe care n-a avut-o nici un sistem filozofic în istorie:
egalitatea absolutā, nedemagogicā, a oamenilor în fata lui Dumnezeu.
Toti sunt oameni.
Crestinismul nu e depāsit în istorie de nimic.
Totul se poate numi pînā la Hristos preistorie, inclusiv grecii si romanii. 
Eu cunosc filozofia greacā foarte bine: nu m-am mîntuit cu ea în nici un fel.
E mai mîntuitoare o rugāciune într-o bisericā...
Cultura se cheamā religie, iar restul e civilizatie.
Cultura este spirit, si acest lucru nu se practicā decît în ritualul crestin, ultimul ritual din istorie, singurul ca spectacol si continut, inegalabil..." (Petre Tutea).
'Dacā e ceva mai adînc decît noi însine,
sā uitām de noi însine si sā ne amintim de noi..' (Constantin Noica).
Preotul misionar, departe de tarā, încearcā sā aducā aminte românilor de ceea ce este mai adînc în noi, de identitatea de român.

St. Apostle Andrew brings the 'Great Idea' to Tomis (Constanta) in the 1st century.

The 'Great Idea', meaning the 'Our Father', is about absolute equality.
"The Christian religion has a virtue that no philosophical system in history has had:
the absolute, non-demagogical equality of people before God.
They are all human.
Christianity is not surpassed in history by anything.
Everything can be called prehistory until Christ, including the Greeks and Romans.
I know Greek philosophy very well: I was not saved by it in any way.
A prayer in a church is saving...
Culture is called religion, and the rest is civilization.
Culture is spirit, and this is practiced only in the Christian ritual, the last ritual in history, the only one in terms of performance and content, incomparable..." (Petre Tutea).

let's forget ourselves and remember us...' (Constantin Noica).
The missionary priest, far from the country, tries to remind the Romanians of what is deeper in us, of the Romanian identity.
