THE RIGHTEOUS HAVE A LOT GOING FOR THEM.
1. They invest in real-estate values (Psalm 112:6). Since we are joint heirs with You, we thank You that we can leave remembrances that will last as long as You shall reign, and that is forever and ever.
2. They have the advantage of a fixed heart (112:7) May we keep life unified, simplified, and organized under Your control, so that we can move consistently in harmony with Your will.
3. The advantage of un uplifting God (113:7-8). May we ever remember the pit from which we were digged and remind ourselves constantly that we are what we are by God's grace.
4. The Lord will make a way for the righteous (114:1,3). May we have a breadth of response that makes us alive to the best in our environment. Then our possessions will be unlimited.
5. The righteous receive blessings from the Lord of the universe ( 115:15). We stand amazed at the way You reinforce the righteous, lift up the upright, and make us victors instead of victims.
6. They have a lot going for them in the hour of death (116:15). We are thankful that the righteous have everything going for them in life and in death, in the here and in the hereafter, in the limitations of time and the liberation of eternity.
7. The righteous have an understanding God on their side (117:2). May we punctuate our language of worship with resounding "Hallelujahs", so we can keep smiles on our faces and in our hearts.
