Faceți din bunătate normă!
Marea idee a Predicii de pe Munte este: „Dumnezeu este Tatăl vostru”.
În centrul Predicii se află învățătura lui Iisus despre iubirea dușmanilor (Luca 6:27) care are ca sursă de motivație harul și compasiunea lui Dumnezeu pentru întreaga umanitate.
„Dumnezeu este Tatăl vostru”, a spus El, „îngrijindu-se de bunăstarea fiecăruia dintre voi mai mult decât poate orice tată uman să aibă grijă de copiii săi”.
Dumnezeu este păstorul care caută chiar o singură oaie rătăcită.
Dumnezeu Tatăl primește acasă un băiat risipitor.
Dumnezeu este regele care iartă datornicilor săi sume mari și așteaptă ca ei să ierte la rândul lor.
Multe parabole, dar aceeași idee mare: Faceți din bunătate normă!

Make Kindness the Norm!
The Big Idea of the Sermon on the Mount is : "God is your Father".
At the core of the Sermon is Jesus' teaching on the love of one's enemies (Luke 6:27) that has as its source of motivation God's graciousness and compassion for all humanity.
"God  is your Father", He said, "caring more for the wellfare of every one of you than any human father can possibly care for his children".
God is the shepherd searching the wilds for one wandering sheep.
God the Father welcoming home a prodigal boy.
God is the king who forgives his debtors large amounts and expects them to be forgiving in turn.
Many stories, but the same big Idea : Make Kindness the Norm!
