Look for Him and He will find you!
The Eternal Miracle.
When, how and where did the eternal miracle occur to Mary Magdalene? It was in that hour of morning when Jesus appeared and said to her, "Mary!". The audacious thought enter her mind that she is bigger than the limits of a country town, that her life might be bigger than her father's or mother's.
Like the Samaritan woman, who is the first to spread the word that Jesus is the Messiah (John 4:1), Mary Magdalene is the first to announce that Jesus has been raised from the dead. She comes to the tomb while it is still dark (symbolizing unbelief) and encounters the risen Jesus and begins to see with eyes of faith. Belief prompts her to action, and so she goes to tell the others, "I have seen the Lord!". She is first in every listing of Jesus' female disciples (Mt.27:55; Mk 15:40; Lk 8:2). All four Gospels name her as one of the first eye-witnesses of Jesus' Resurrection and we can presume that she was an important leader among the first Christians.
